Joining other prominent business leaders, An Mai and Quyen Nguyen engaged with them on how Asian countries could best support each other. For their part, they spoke at length about #DigitalTransformation in Southeast Asia. Despite the many challenges, now was the perfect opportunity for #SMEs to get involved in the region. 

For example, the pandemic forced many companies to start teleworking, including the famously hidebound Japanese. This led to an increase in the number of Indochinese #Outsourcing companies hoping to work for them. As a result, Japanese firms are now more willing to try companies based in Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, and others. Meanwhile, these same companies can now offer previously unavailable skill sets thanks to these new experiences and better training.

Supporting all of this has been a strong trend in local governments to create innovative digital ecosystems. Vietnam, for example, invested heavily in technologies, helping leapfrog the country into a global #Blockchain leader. Now, with Southeast Asia’s digital economy being worth over 200 billion USD, the time has never been riper for regional partners and their allies to start innovating toward success.
