Effective school management addresses every key area to ensure smooth operations. This involves managing student enrollment, attendance, academic scheduling, grading, teacher management, facility maintenance, communication, extracurricular activities, and compliance with regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Traditional school management, reliant on paper-based processes, often struggles with issues such as data overload, inefficiency, and limited accessibility. These challenges make it difficult to handle large volumes of data and can lead to errors and delays.     THE APPLICATION OF MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS IN EDUCATION SECTOR<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Our client for this project is a well-established multinational technology company based in Vietnam. Recognizing the promise of the digital revolution, their goal is to develop management information systems for Vietnamese educational institutions to make better use of the growing amount of data.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    The Challenges<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    IMT Solutions was tasked with creating comprehensive school management information systems designed to streamline educational management across various institutions. The goal was to implement this system within Education Departments, primary schools, junior high schools, high schools, and training centers throughout Ho Chi Minh City and Northern Vietnam. The client\u2019s requirements included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Efficient Information Management:<\/strong> The system needed to manage and organize information for students, teachers, and parents efficiently. This included enrollment records, attendance, academic performance, and communication logs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Device Accessibility:<\/strong> The solution required a web portal accessible from desktop computers and APIs to support mobile functionalities on both Android and iOS platforms. This ensured that users could access the system from any device, enhancing flexibility and convenience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Seamless Integration with Third-Party Services:<\/strong> Integration capabilities for features such as voice control for student score input, SMS and mobile notifications, and group chats for parents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Scalability:<\/strong> The system had to be designed to scale effectively, supporting a large number of users simultaneously without compromising performance. This included the ability to handle increasing amounts of data and user interactions as the number of users grew.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Our Approach<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      IMT Solutions assembled a team of 20 engineers to work closely with the client. The project lasted three years (2017-2019) and was divided into onshore and offshore units. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The onshore team of 10 developers collaborating directly with the client\u2019s team for core functions. While the offshore team of 10 developers worked with a project manager from the client to provide solutions and develop mobile app functionalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • UI\/UX Design<\/strong>: We focused on delivering intuitive user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) designs, ensuring the system\u2019s features met user needs effectively and were easy to follow, even for first-time users.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Code Refactoring<\/strong>: We performed code refactoring to enhance server response times, improving overall system performance and user experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Web Portal Optimization<\/strong>: We reskinned the web portal to ensure responsive design compatibility across tablets, mobile devices, and desktops, providing a seamless experience on all platforms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
