Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam – Jan 10th, 2014. IMT Solutions announced that it had been awarded ISO 27001:2005 certification. This prestigious certification demonstrates IMT’s successful adherence to ISO 27001:2005, an ISO’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) standard. The certificate is valid for all IMT’s software outsourcing services.
Understanding that IP Protection is one of the key concerns in software outsourcing, IMT has started the ISO 27001:2005 certification program since Feb 2013. The program was consulted by Dong Nai STAC, and was partially sponsored by Vietnam Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC).
IMT’s ISO 27001:2005 evaluation process was conducted by DAS Certification, an UK company. This thorough assessment included multiple rounds of audits to verify both IMT’s compliance to defined ISMS policies and procedures, as well as implementation and institutionalization across all areas of the company’s business. On the on-going basis, IMT will receive annual surveillance audits from DAS Certification.

About ISO 27001:2005
ISO 27001:2005 is an information security management system (ISMS) standard published in October 2005 by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). Its full name is ISO/IEC 27001:2005 – Information technology – Security techniques – Information security management systems – Requirements. It is the replacement of the old BS7799 standard.
