A group of Japanese students from ASIA University, International Relations Department visited IMT Solutions on February 26th, 2014 for the purpose of understanding working culture in Vietnamese software companies. In this trip to Vietnam, they planned to visit 4 Vietnamese companies, all in Ho Chi Minh City.
Being the first company the students visited, IMT had been very supportive by warmly hosting them and answering all the questions they had. The students showed their seriousness for this activity when presenting formally in white T-shirt and black trousers, giving many questions, taking notes carefully, and asking for permission to take pictures, etc.
The group was very excited with Japanese and Vietnamese cultural similarities and differences. The IMT culture such as flat management, friendly working environment, etc. also surprised them. They especially would like to know what the working environment in the projects working with Japanese looks like and if it carries any Japanese spirit.
This is such a useful activity. We believe the trip has brought them, as International Relations students, valuable experience that is helpful for their study and future jobs.
